Think you’ve found the right home…What next?

Once you think you’ve found a home, it’s important to do a preliminary inspection before you make an offer. During the preliminary inspection, you’ll be looking at every aspect of the house—the condition of the roof, floors, windows, plumbing, etc., so that you’ll be aware of any possible problems.

Your now ready to go ahead and make an offer to the seller. Having a REALTOR® prepare a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) can be a helpful first step. A CMA will provide information about homes in the same neighborhood that are selling for comparable prices.

When you’re ready to make an offer, your REALTOR® will help walk you through the process to make sure you provide all the necessary information. Once the seller receives your offer, they can decide to accept, reject, or make a counteroffer. Your REALTOR® will be with you every step of the way to make sure the negotiations work for you.
